f(x)=3x squared-2x+7

This is just a substitution problem. Just substitute -1 and then 2 into the function

 

f(-1) = 3(-1)² - 2(-1) + 7 = 3 * 1 - 2(-1) + 7 = 3 + 2 + 7 = 12

 

f(2) = 3(2)² - 2(2) + 7 = 3 * 4 - 2(2) + 7 = 12 - 4 + 7 = 15
