The question is drawing a comparison between the Confederate flag and the Nazi flag. For that reason, she would equate the Confederate flag with showing support for the war to keep slavery legal. Her feelings on treating Jews just as any other person transfer to views of treating African slaves (and modern day African Americans) as any other person, with equal rights and privileges. Therefore, she would not support the display of the Confederate flag as part of our heritage, as she would perceive it to be a shameful part of our heritage for the purpose of owning and mistreating human beings.
