f(x)=2x3+6x2-12x-36
Step 1: Split the Polynomial into 2 parts
f(x)=2x3+6x2 & -12x-36
Step 2: Find the Greatest Common Factor on Each Side
2x3+6x2 --> 2x2 --> 2x2(x+3)
-12x-36--> -12 --> -12(x+3)
Step 3: Group the common expression with the multiples
(2x2-12)(x+3)
Step 4: Set each term equal to zero and solve
2x2-12=0
2x2=12
x2=6
x=√6
x+3 = 0
x=-3
