A retailer gave his costumers 1 7/8 dollars in change,which he afterwards found, was 4/5 of a dollar too much: What was the exact amount of change due?

Hi Nick,

7/8 = 0.875

So 1 7/8 = 1.875

4/5 = 0.80

When you subtract 1.875 - 0.80 what I'd the answer? Round it up or down to the nearest penny ano you are done.
