Dia, I think the key is to look at whatever those activities are (we don't know what you've learned about) and figure out why someone would do them--what feeling are they trying to get by doing those activities. Then think about another, safer/healthier way to get them same feeling. For example if someone drinks alcohol to relax, maybe instead they could take a walk or sit under a tree or draw a picture or sing a song. All very relaxing.
But what's most important for you to realize is that there isn't one right answer here. You need to think about the topics YOU learned about, why YOU think people engage in those behaviors, and what YOU think are suitable alternatives.
