5 Cello lessons
Listening comprehension
4. Writing/learning new Kanji
One challenge is the different skill levels between Robbie and Mark. For example, should you have conversation alone with Mark for ten minutes while Robbie works alone on something else? Also, we have realistic expectations, since their lesson is only 2 hours per week, plus they are also working hard with "American School," soccer, cello, piano, Chinese, etc! See you this Saturday, 3-5PM. Sincerely,
Robert and Yukari
She had taken private cello lessons since age 6 and we wondered if there was a similar type of thing for those who wanted to develop skills in art. A search on Google brought me to Wyzant and subsequently to Frances S.'s profile. After a few emails back and forth, things looked really promising. Frances seemed to have all the skills we were looking for in a tutor so we made an appointment for a lesson. R met with Frances for a two hour session and connected with her immediately.
She is a business professional and does an amazing job at delivering an encouraging learning experience, for my son. 1/8/2014: Tonight was my son's final lesson with Carole before his SSAT, which will be in two days. We feel so fortunate that we had Carole and my son is feeling a lot more confident in his ability to perform well in the exam. couldn't ask for a better tutor!! She genuinely cares about her students and is truly committed and encouraging!!
