I'm a violinist originally from Texas with 20 plus years of performance experience. I graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University with a Bachelor of Music in 2020. I have experience working as a conductor for beginner and intermediate orchestra, private instructor, and Early Childhood Music Educator. Over the years I have learned to work with various age groups; working with students even as young as 3 years old. During lessons I use visual and auditory aids to help my students such as playing by rote, using colored fingering tapes/charts, clapping and singing through rhythms/melodies.

As a teacher my main goal is to provide lessons that are both fun and informative and to create a safe learning environment for all of my students. I understand that making mistakes is part of the learning process and that every student learns at their own pace, so I celebrate every sign of improvement and encourage all questions.
