I am a professional cellist and music theory instructor with Bachelor's and Master's degrees from the Manhattan School of Music and more than 20 years of teaching experience. I teach cello, music theory, and AP Music Theory to students of all ages and experience levels, from complete beginners to advanced musicians preparing for auditions, collegiate study, and examinations. I especially enjoy working with adult beginners and returning musicians.

My lessons are tailored to each student's goals, emphasizing strong technique, musical expression, and lasting musicianship. Whether you're learning your first notes, preparing for an audition, or studying for the AP Music Theory exam, I provide structured, encouraging instruction to help you succeed.

My cello students have performed at Carnegie Hall, Merkin Hall, and NJPAC and have gone on to study cello at the collegiate level. My music theory students have earned top scores on the Royal Conservatory of Music Development Program examinations (Levels 1–10) and the AP Music Theory exam.

As a performer, I have appeared at Carnegie Hall, Alice Tully Hall, the Mozarteum in Salzburg, and the Teresa Carreño Theater in Caracas. I also have extensive experience teaching online and have successfully guided beginning and advanced students in virtual lessons since 2020.

Scheduling & Cancellation Policy: Please provide at least 12 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. Lessons canceled within 12 hours of the scheduled start time are charged in full, except in the case of an emergency.
