We’re looking for an in-person reading and writing tutor on the Upper East Side. The focus would be close reading, reading comprehension, discussion of literature, and analytical writing. We’d like to start this summer with their assigned reading — for example, just mercy (young adult version) for our daughter — and potentially continue during the school year if it’s a good fit.

I’m interested in taking drawing lessons. I’m very eager to learn the fundamentals of art and drawing—things like technique, proportion, perspective, shading, composition, and how to properly observe and draw what I see. I’ve always admired art, and now I really want to develop that side of myself and learn how to create art of my own.
