My name is Emir and I live in Miami. My mom is 68 years old and has been learning English for about a year now. We’re originally from Turkey, and she currently takes three lessons a week.
She’s visiting me in Miami for about six weeks, and I’ve noticed that she still struggles to speak confidently and can feel a bit shy when using English. I thought working with a native speaker in a comfortable, supportive setting could really help her gain confidence and improve her conversational skills.
She’ll be staying in Midtown, and I wanted to ask if someone be interested in working with her for one month, meeting twice a week. Please let me know if this is something you’d be open to discussing.
Thank you so much,
Emir

We live in Oregon and have a new au pair who would like some help with her English. She works weekdays, so would need evening or weekend lessons. We're thinking once or twice per week.

I am looking for a teacher to help my twin 12-year-old sons with reading. We adopted the boys from Haiti two years ago. They speak and understand the language very well but need a lot of work with reading and writing.

I’m looking for a long-term academic writing coach for my son, who is currently in 9th grade at a U.S. high school.
English is not his first academic language, so we are focusing on academic writing, argumentation, and clarity of expression rather than test prep.
