I’m looking for a writing tutor for my three kids, who are entering the 4th, 6th, and 7th grades this fall. Ideally, I would love to find someone to meet twice a week for a 2-hour session. The plan is to split the time into 40-minute blocks back-to-back, so each kid gets dedicated 1-on-1 focus.
For the 6th and 7th graders, I'd like the focus to be on mastering narrative, persuasive, and informative writing.

I’m looking for a consistent Language Arts tutor for my 6-year-old son.
He is skipping 1st grade and will be starting 2nd grade at a school for gifted children this August (in about 3 months). He is very strong in math and reads at around a 3rd-grade level, but he needs support in two main areas:
-Reading comprehension
-Writing — moving from very simple sentences to clear, well-organized paragraphs (topic sentence, supporting details, conclusion)
he is a curious boy who loves facts, history, ships (especially the Titanic), animals, LEGO, and adventure books like Magic Tree House. He is less interested in typical fairy tales.
We are looking for someone who can do one-hour sessions (sometimes 45 minutes), ideally 1–2 times per week, and help him build real confidence in reading comprehension and structured writing before he starts his new school.

I have a 10 year old boy attending 4th grade at Double Peak school in San Marcos. He has been struggling on areas of math and writing. I am hoping tutors have some availability to see if we are a good fit. I am looking to schedule sessions Monday Tuesday and Wednesday after school hours 5-6 at my home in Escondido. Looking for tutors available over the summer at all for tutoring? I have twins. My son has much more difficulty and I can't tell if he doesn't know what he is doing or if he is just lazy. I feel he is not ready for 6th grade writing. His reading comprehension is ok but he still doesn't punctuate or capitalize correctly sometimes. He has difficulty organizing his thoughts (a trait I always had with writing as well).
