I have a 9-year-old boy whom I'm trying to support with a reading tutor. He's currently in 4th grade, we've noticed he struggles with general reading comprehension. His state ELA exam scores reflects it. He struggles with capturing the main meaning of texts. Instead, he focuses on minute details first. We're trying to teach him ourselves, but an external tutor may get through to him more readily. A bonus would be a tutor who can help him develop organization, and breaking down tasks (for example, a larger reading project) as part of general work together. Is that something up your alley
