I am looking for an engaging 1-on-1 tutor for my daughter who is almost 6 years old and currently in TK.
Our Situation:
• Background: Native Chinese speaker. She has been in English preschool since age 2, but currently struggles with expressive language and vocabulary.
• Challenges: Her pronunciation needs correction (Phonics), and she needs to improve her cognitive/logical thinking in English.
• Personality: She is very energetic and active, which means she has a shorter attention span and needs a teacher who is high-energy and uses interactive tools (props, games, TPR).
Our Goals:
1. Improve pronunciation through systematic Phonics.
2. Build confidence in public speaking/storytelling (Show and Tell style).
3. Expand her cognitive vocabulary to help her keep up with the TK/Kindergarten curriculum.
