Really helpful tutor

Jonathan was able to help me solve the problems I was having with my assignments, and was also able to explain the solutions so that I could understand them.

Very reliable tutor

During summer of 2011 Frederica tutored my daughter who is an international student at Columbia University NYC. Frederica was always very punctual, ahead of the course material and also available for any help on phone. My daughter scored A +.

Attentive and Considerate Tutor

Bruno has been able to quickly assess my level and determine a course of instruction that catered to my needs and my goals. He is a gifted teacher that brings an added bonus of being a native french speaker who is fluent in English as well. A pleasure to work with.

Extremely patient and knowledgable tutor!

Lee helped our teenage son set up his own blog on wordpress in a two-hour session. He explained all the various options. He helped tailor the blog to our son's interests and answered all of his questions in a very thorough, understanding manner. Our son feels so much more confident now and is posting regularly! Very grateful.

Knowledgeable, Adaptable, Patient, Ambitious for your success

I worked with Shan in preparation for the final exam in Managerial Accounting. As a Marketing major for my MBA, accounting is what I consider to be my weakest subject but with Shans step by step methodology in tutoring I was able to completely understand and ace (97) my exam. Trust me, hire her if you need any finance or accounting help and she'll be able to teach you at your own pace.

Mila made the lesson fun and made our young daughter feel as ease. Building a relationship is key. We look forward to a weekly lesson with Mila being a mentor in teaching her French.

Extremely knowledgeable and engaging teacher/tutor!

Arnold is a terrific teacher. He has engaged my son completely in the subject of AP US history. Patrick is not usually a fan of history, but Arnold has made the subject material interesting and alive and reviews material in a way that Patrick says makes it easy to retain. I am so grateful to Arnold for working with my son and recommend him without reservation!

Incredible tutor! Highly recommend!

I've met with quite a few tutors in my quest for the elusive 700+ score on the GMAT and Matthew has been by far my favorite. He is truly invested in his students' success and not at all in the tutoring business for the money. In fact, with his level of expertise and experience, he should be charging a whole lot more! Matthew knows the GMAT inside out and gave me countless insights about the test algorithm, study methods, ways to outsmart the system, tips and tricks, time management, what to do the day of the test, and detailed feedback regarding which questions weigh more and which ones can be skipped over. His extensive knowledge about the test cannot be beat. He and I worked primarily on quant but he still also gave me valuable advise about verbal CR and SC and the essay and recommended the most effective test prep resources. I've taken the test several times and each time he was extremely supportive and expertly assuaged my fears. He always managed to lift my spirits even when when I was most anxious and kept me pushing forward (with my disposition, that's no small feat!) My score went from Q39 on the first GMAC practice test to Q49 on the official test, and that's despite the fact that I have not done any math for the past 7 years. Matthew also provided me with valuable insights about MBA programs and MBA application process. All in all, I cannot recommend him highly enough!
