About Lee

I have extensive experience in producing interactive and digital projects – from large websites (Sony, Haagen-Dazs) to integrated marketing campaigns involving websites and other online media (Be a Brit Different for Visit Britain) to Social Media (Visit London).

I began working in HTML when Netscape Navigator and IE3.0 were cutting edge browsers. I have kept up as the language evolved and its capabilities grew. And I have come to appreciate the craft and beauty of well-formed, valid HTML.

Over 20 years experience building websites and managing web development projects for companies including: Sony, Haagen-Dazs, Karcher, VisitBritain, Visit & Partners, The Council of Public Relations Firms, the Pajama Factory and Friends of Stuyvesant Baseball. W3C certified in HTML.

HTML is the first step that you have to master to become a web developer. I look forward to helping you on that path.

Approved subjects are in bold.

Approved subjects

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

Dreamweaver

I have used Dreamweaver in the past for creating websites and although I have moved on to other HTML IDEs (i.e. Notepad++, Atom) I can tutor students who are working with Dreamweaver. In my experience, most students will be required to use the HTML editor (as opposed to the WYSIWYG drag and drop editor) in Dreamweaver to create their website projects. Typically issues tend to be with proper HTML syntax, file structure etc. At that level HTML is HTML no matter what editor you're using.

Wonderfully patient and concern. Could not have been better.

Lee taught me Dreamweaver and Bootstraps. He gave me both the knowledge and confidence I need to move forward and fully understand these programs.
