 A = (−2,4) and B = (7,−2). Find the point Q

Let A = (−2,4) and B = (7,−2). Find the point Q on the line y = 2 that makes the total distance AQ + BQ as small as possible.

log2 (x+4) +log2 (x-3) =3

Could someone walk me through the steps? I tried to factor to find x but it didn't work.
