Background Check

Hi I would like to run a background check on one of the tutors that I am in communication with but I am unclear on how to move forward with this step. I know the cost is $15.99. Please advise!

Hi, perhaps I can help. There are a few options:

If the tutor is US based, you can simply ask them to complete the Wyzant background check which every Wyzant tutor has an access to.

Another option is to ask them to fill out whichever other background check service, and then to send you the results.

For example, there is one called Checkr, but just be mindful that the background check provides you with the information you actually want. Some of them are used for apartment rentals and job applications, and so it's possible they only verify information related to renting apartments or previous job titles.
