Do musics have to travel to studios if they live 4 hours away and can’t afford

Do musicians who are signed to labels have to travel without help like 4 hours to there nearest studios on a train there and back which they can’t afford to move close to area due to money? Can a record companies use normal local studios? would you advice someone who is struggling because of this part the living far and funding for travel?

It entirely depends on the label and your contract. I couldn't recommend anything because I don't know what the label is offering.

What I can say is that if you are new to the industry and want some label help, look for contracts on individual songs rather than signing away your entire artistic project. It's much lower risk and you can gauge which label(s) are right for you depending on how well the songs perform.
