We can take out the GCF of  6a3 - 10a2 + 3a - 5  by grouping.
 
 
Rearrange the terms in the expression.
 
6a3 + 3a -10a2 - 5  =
 
3a(2a2 + 1) - 5(2a2 +1) 
 
 
GCF is    2a2 + 1
 
 
(2a2 + 1)(3a - 5)     is the solution.
 
You can use the FOIL method to check the solution.  If you end up with the original problem, then it is correct.
