Within MoSCow prioritization, “should-haves” represent the next level after “must haves” and they add meaningful benefit to the end product but are not requirements for delivery. “Should-haves” are more appropriate for post-delivery / future releases to add desired features or other supplemental value.
“Could-haves” represent the next level after “should-haves” and are improvements or upgrades that add minimal value. They are not necessary elements, as they do not support the principal requirements of the product delivery. They could be referred to as scope creep or gold-plating, and are usually excluded due to budget or schedule constraints.
