Revit Help
I have successfully detailed structural steel for the past 8 years in Revit. While it is not the most optimal tool, the Steel tab in Revit 2019 and above certainly help. Part of that is my work; hence, the detailing history. I helped with the creation of that, and the original integration between Revit and Advance Steel. To answer your question directly: No, Revit is not currently good enough, on it's own, to detail structural steel. While Advance Steel is an avenue to do this, within the industry, it would not be my first choice. Is there a particular reason you want to detail structural steel in Revit, as opposed to other programs?
