How useful is MS Project for people in the construction business?

Very useful, but the program is not that user friendly.

can substitute a project plan in word or excel. Good for achieving milestones, avoiding detours keeping within budget, team accountability, upper management progress reporting, & finish before deadline. Served as benchmark for future similar projects.
