This one gets into some of the details of how we status a schedule. Statusing a schedule is how we record progress in the schedule. A task will show late if it has a start or finish date in the past with no actuals OR progress is not recorded up to the current date or status date. Add the actual start, actual finish, and stop fields to your view. If it say Late, one of these is not recorded properly. If the start date is in the past, it should have an actual start date assigned. If the task didn't finish yet, progress should be recorded up to the status date or current date. This means that the stop field should be the same as the current date or the status date. And if the current date or status date is a non-working day, then the stop date should be the last business day before the non-working period. And finally, is the finish date is in the past, then it should have an actual finish date. Hope that helps!
