How is Revit Architecture used?

This is a very general question, but overall Revit Architecture has many uses.

Here is a short list. But not limited to.

1. Create a 3D model to visualize concepts and final materials
2. Render images for clients
3. Show walk through's of buildings
4. Create construction documents to be used for design and building
5. Create new concept designs
6. Collaborate with other disciplines or co-workers/ share a project
7. Create quotes/takeoffs for pricing
8. Create schedules
9. Create new windows/doors and others the list is too extensive to list here
10. create details live or static
11. Revit is a full BIM parametric modeler, meaning what you do in one view can effect/ update in all views related to the model such as details, schedules and other views
12. Create Stairs custom and out of the box families
13. insert background models like dwg drawings to work from
