This is a very general question, but overall Revit Architecture has many uses.
Here is a short list. But not limited to.
- Create a 3D model to visualize concepts and final materials
- Render images for clients
- Show walk through's of buildings
- Create construction documents to be used for design and building
- Create new concept designs
- Collaborate with other disciplines or co-workers/ share a project
- Create quotes/takeoffs for pricing
- Create schedules
- Create new windows/doors and others the list is too extensive to list here
- create details live or static
- Revit is a full BIM parametric modeler, meaning what you do in one view can effect/ update in all views related to the model such as details, schedules and other views
- Create Stairs custom and out of the box families
- insert background models like dwg drawings to work from
this list can keep growing, I would ask what it is you would like to do with Revit and I can answer weather you can or cannot.
