How do I convert the unitless to mm in Autocad?

I use AutoCad all of the time. I don't know what version you are using, but if it is windows or Mac OS Autocad 2016 or newer, it is a very simple change.

1. Open a new current drawing
2. There should be a ribbon across the top of the screen with menus including "file", "view","Edit"etc. Select the one that says "Format"
3. After choosing the format menu, select " units" from the drop down.
4. Selecting the units menu should pull up a screen that on the top half has unit types selections and precision selection. On the bottom half, there should be a a drop-down menu that is most likely preset to inches. Select that and change it to the desired unit.
