How do I copy, rotate and move a window at once in Revit?

When you want to copy and paste a wall hosted item, use the typical CTRL/CMD+C and CRTL/CMD+V shortcut.

When the item is pasted, you will see a light gray "ghosted" wall. Align this wall with the wall you want the new family to be located. Then left click off the element.

This method doesn't always work, it usually depends on the element you are trying to copy and paste, but occasionally it does.

Also, if you right click and "Create Similar", this is quick shortcut to creating the same element

In the Architecture tab there should be an option for adding components where you will be able to insert windows, doors, and other furniture. While you can't copy a window per se, you can insert multiples of the same window. Windows will move with your cursor, just as doors and other components would, and can be rotated by pressing the spacebar on your keyboard. This is especially helpful if you want doors facing a certain direction or to keep windows from having their opening on the outside of a building.
