Learn Real-World ASL Skills from an Interpreter, One Sign at a Time!
I would agree about finding a tutor to help you. You want to continue practicing your signing skills of what you learned; a tutor can help you with that. Yes, lifeprint is a good and there are plenty of other ASL YouTube videos to practice your receptive skills with. Just make sure it is Deaf people,
Handspeak is a dictionary, but a good ASL dictionary/user friendly too. Another dictionary I like is: signasl, they have synonyms to the word you type in sometimes, so you can see the different possible sign choices. They also show different people signing it. Be sure you see the word below each video to make sure you are using the right sign you intended to find. You can also find resources with Gallaudet University.
Being how you are ready for ASL 3, I'd say the best thing to do is interact with Deaf people... but it's not always easy to find deaf events nearby. HOWEVER, I still encourage you to find a tutor, because you don't want to just passively "watch" ASL, you will not get fluent like that, and your improvement will be very slow going. You want to be able to learn to communicate and having a tutor will help you with signing practice to improve your communication and understanding. You can always find a Deaf tutor to help you out and you will improve quickly! Wyzant has deaf tutors as well!
