Two "dative"/"feelings" sentences but use 3rd person singular future?

In *Russian in an Easy Way* I came across two sentences; 1. Мне б**у**дет ст**ы**дно, I will feel ashamed. (?) 2. Мне б**у**дет дос**а**дно, I will feel frustrated. (?)and I wonder why буду wasn't used. I know есть has some weird behavior, e.g. the negative genation нет = не есть, etc, but I don't feel this is related even if it has есть in it, but no нет in it...

I agree, from the first glance, these sentences seem strange to the English speakers. We need to look at them from different angles. In Russian language, you are ashamed, frustrated, warm, cold, etc., because something makes you feel this way (this feeling comes to you- this is why we using the Dative case МНЕ, not Я). In these sentences, we use the adverbs (стыдно, досадно, тепло, холодно, not the Adjectives (стыдный, досадный, тёплый, холодный). 

Мне холодно. I'm cold

Я - холодный (человек). I'm a cold person.

Whatever Russian is, it isn't weird. Compared to English, Russian is exceptionally consistent and logical. Russian may be complicated, but it is above all logical and consistent.

Just keep telling yourself, "Russian isn't weird. It's just that there a rule I don't (yet) understand." The more you tell yourself that Russian is weird, the harder you will make the task of learning Russian.

Okay. Now that we've got that cleared up...

In the instances you ask about, буду isn't used because these sentences belong to the very large class of impersonal constructions in Russian. In these constructions, an adverb (стыдно, досано) is ALWAYS used with a noun, noun phrase or pronoun in the dative case.

Maybe it will help to notice the differences between these sentences:

Мне скучно. я скучный

The first sentence uses an impersonal construction and means "I'm bored." The second sentence is not an impersonal construction, and therefore the predicative adjective agrees with the subject in gender, number, and case. It means "I'm a boring person."
