Wahl is always a good clipper and is very affordable I also enjoy Andis but beware the pricing is significantly more than the first choice. Cleaning your clippers after each use will ensure they do not wear down quickly. For home use, I recommend oiling them once every 3-4 uses and sanitizing them with Coolcare to kill any bacteria that may be in the clippers.
