Well, to determine the restriction on any rational expression, we simply take its denominator (in this case that's 4x) and set it equal to 0.
It's really that simple!
So, y = 6/(4x) + 24 is our expression.
The denominator is 4x.
To find the restriction we do: 4x = 0 and then solve.
Doing so, we soon discover that x simply equals 0.
Therefore, your restriction is: x cannot = 0
