A recipe for punch.....

A recipe for punch says to use 1 4/5 cups of lemonade

for each cup of ginger ale. If you use 1 4/7 cups of

ginger ale, how much lemonade should you use? ???

Hi Faith,

 

for each cup of ginger ale you would need 1 4/5 cups of lemonade

 

so to get the numbers of lemonade multiply the number of cups of ginger ale by 1 4/5

 

 

1 4/7 * 1 4/5

 

or as fractions

 

11/7 * 9/5
