An empty bottle has a mass of 30.5g. When this bottle is completely filled with water it has a mass of 65.6g. When this bottle was filled with another liquid A, it has a total mass of 50.5g. Find the density of liquid A.
65.6 - 30.5 = 35.1 g of water
35.1 g water x 1mL water/1g water = 35.1 mL volume
D = m/v
D = (65.6 - 50.5)/35.1 mL = 15.1/35.1 = .4302 g/mL
