(We are talking about vectors.
R = (4, 5, 5).
Then it has,
||->OR|| = _____.
I'm not sure how you find OR if you do not have what O is. Thank you. (Arrows are supposed to be on top of OR, but cannot figure out how to do that.)

As a further explanation, R is the vector in the x, y, z 3-dimensional space. Imagine a box, and one corner is the origin. Its value is 0,0,0. x and y are the base, and z is up. Therefore the point of vector R is 4 units along one side of the box, x and then 5 units into the base of the box, y and now up another 5 units. You have an imaginary arrow r with a start at the corner of the box and its point inside the box at the coordinates given. Since you have the formula for length as in Anita's comment above, and x1, y1 and z1 are all 0, you can find the length of the vector r as sqrt(x2 + y2 + z2). It is the distance formula taken to one more dimension.
