Could the question possibly be "Is the whole number set closed under multiplication"?
If so, then we want to check if we multiply any whole numbers, will our answer be a whole number?
Whole numbers are the set { 0, 1,, 2, 3, ...}
Try multiplying any numbers that could be in the bracket and you always get a whole number.
The answer is yes.
There are great visual aids online if you're doing other work with types of numbers. Just google "images types of numbers" and look for the diagrams.
