The easiest way to do this is to find the area of a complete circle with a diameter of 4 meters and then divide the answer by 4.

To find the circumference, it’s 2(pi)(radius) or (diameter)(pi) pi=3.14 Your diameter is 4. So circumference= (4)(3.14) (4)(3.14)= 12.56 So that’s the circumference, or the whole circle Then divide by 4 to find a quarter. 12.56 divided by 4= 3.14
