This problem is similar to yours, see if you can find the pattern for determining the derivative.
x^3 + y -4 = 20
⇒ x^3 + y = 24
The derivative of x^3 is 3x^2 (bring the exponent out in front and subtract 1 from the same exponent).
The derivative of y is 1, (y=y^1, again bring the exponent out in front and subtract 1 from the same exponent. *y^0=1.
The derivative of 24 is 0. The derivative of a plain number that doesn't have a variable attached is 0.
Answer: 3x^2 + 1 is the derivative.
