Please write in proper English.  I am assuming the question is:  "If I start work at 10:12 a.m. and work for 3 hours and 48 minutes, what time do I get off work?"  If that's it, the answer is 2:00 p.m.    Add 48 minutes to the 12 minutes, and that takes you to a full hour (11:00), then add the three hours to 11, which is 14:00 in military time, or 2:00 p.m.

 

My confusion is referring to "3:48 minites", which would mean 3 minutes and 48 seconds.....
