When you are given a point and a slope, you use the Point-Form for the equation of a line. Then, put it in standard form, which is ax + by = c

y - y₁ = m(x - x₁)

y + 2 = 2(x - 4)

y + 2 = 2x - 8

y = 2x - 10

2x - y = 10
