If we use x ml of 2% bleach, then we use (600-x) ml of 20% solution.
Looking at the bleach concentrations:
.02x + .20(600-x) = .05(600)
Multiply through by 100 to clear the decimals
2x + 20(600-x) = 5(600)
2x + 12000 - 20x = 3000
-18x = 3000 - 12000
-18x = -9000
x = 500 ml of 2% bleach
