How to solve this fraction - 6 1/4 + 3 2/3

It has been a while since I worked with fractions.  Please solve problem above.

This is how I solved it, not sure I am correct:   6x4  = 24 +1 =25 over 4.   3x3 = 9 + 2 = 11 over 4.  Since the denominator are different, found the least common dominator which is 12.  Then I divided 4 into 25 .  Then I got lost not certain at this point.
