There are five people sitting around the dinner table. Each person has 2/10 pf a pie on their plate. How much pie is left? EXPLAIN.

 Each got 2/10 = 1/5 of the pie

 

  then 5 of them got 5 * 1/5 = 1 , the whole 100% of the pie and nothing ( 0 ) was left.

The answer is no pie is left because 2/10 is equal to 1/5 ,and if one person eats 1/5 of the pie and there are five people ,then the pie has been eaten entirely. 2/10 is equal to 1/5 , because if you multiple 5 by 2;and 1 by 2; you are left with 2/10.
