Using substitution. Tamadra has 35 nickels and X quarters. She bought a pair of shoes that cost less than $2.50. How many quarters will make it true?

Basically, I've already figured these two equations out. All I need is the steps and answer, please.

35y+0.25x=2.25
y=0.25x+1.75

I hate these problems! If this is like other problems of its type, then they are wanting to know the maximum number of quarters that would make the statement true. That is done as follows:
   2.50 > 0.05*35 + 0.25*Q
   2.50 > 1.75 + 0.25*Q
   0.75 > 0.25*Q
   3 > Q

So the answer would be 2 quarters. If they want ALL the answers, then the solution would be {0, 1, 2}.
