A cytoplasm is packed with rer,Golgi complex and mitochondria. What activities might this cell concentrate on? Why would large numbers of mitochondria be required for these activities?

RER or rough endoplasmic reticulum is rich in ribosomes, that are tiny factories making cellular proteins by translating mRNA.

 

Golgi complex stores proteins whereas mitochondria are considered power house of cell generating ATP.

 

Such a cell must come from a tissue active in biological activity that required energy expenditure (many mitochondria generating ATP as energy currency) and multiple enzymes.
