I am thinking of four counting numbers that are 100 or less. All of the numbers are different. The mean of my numbers is 82. What is the least number possible for one of my numbers?

Thank you, David, for your detailed explanation. I kept thinking of it as a division thing, but you and Mary E., both from states I don't live in, cleared things. Thanks.

So sorry... My mistake!

Yes, it would be 31.  328 - 100 - 99 - 98 = 31.
