Since Sunday is the day before Monday, then
d days would = -1. Complete the equations
substituting -1:
N(d) = 6(-1) + 25
N(d) = -6 + 25
N(d) = 19
This is the number of roses sold.
P(d) = .02 (-1)2 -.04(-1) + .49
P(d) = .02(-2) + .04 + .49
P(d) = -.04 + .53
P(d) = .49
This is the price each.
19 x .49 = $9.31
This would be Sunday's sales.

Good day, Josh.
Typically, the week begins with Sunday, and Saturday is the last day of the week. Since the equation references Monday, with a sale that preceded that day (Sunday, the day before), hence the -1. It's one day less than the current day. If it were the current day, then d would = 0; if it were a future day, d would = that number of future days. I hope this helps.

The question asks how much money they make on Sunday, so it would make the most sense to be a future sunday, not one that has already passed. I would replace your "-1" with 6 since Sunday is 6 days after monday.
