the length of a table is 6 feet. on a scale drawing, the length is two inches. how can i write 3 possible scales for the drawings

6 ft = 72 inches

 

Scale:  2:72 = 1:36  in inches

2 inches = 2/12 of a ft = 1/6 of a foot

1/6:6 = .167:6 in feet

In yards:

6 ft = 2 yards

2 inches = (1/6)(1/3) = 1/18 of a yard

 

scale:  1/18:2 = .056:2 in yards
