A day without Math is like a day without sunshine!
Hi Reej,
Derivative
dx, d2fdx2, and d3fdx3
for the function
f(x)=x2−5x+6 And f(x)=7x−2x8
dx, d2fdx2, and d3fdx3
for the function
f(x)=x2−5x+6 And f(x)=7x−2x8
I am using prime notation because it is easier to format using this platform.
f'(x) is the 1st derivative, f''(x) is the 2nd derivative and so forth.
For polynomials the power rule is used to find the derivatives
f(x)=x2−5x+6
f'(x)=2x-5
f''(x)=2
f'''(x)=0
f(x)=7x−2x8
f'(x)=7-16x7
f''(x)=112x6
f'''(x)=672x5
Hope this helps you.
