I am seeking help with the multistate bar exam.

I'm a recent law school graduate preparing to receive confirmation that I did not pass the July 2017 UBE -- I will find out for sure on October 5th. I realize that this message may seem extremely preemptive, as I don't actually have my results in hand yet -- however, I am essentially certain that I will be retaking the bar examination this February. Because of my postgraduate employment placement (which, very fortunately, will not disappear if I fail the bar), I sat for the bar exam in Colorado, and plan to do so again in February. Given my situation, I'm seeking help for a few reasons. First, as a bar re-taker, it would be valuable it would be to work one on one with a tutor knowledgable about the exam. Secondly, I have test-taking limitations (intense anxiety/panic symptoms during exams; minor cognitive limitations that essentially present similarly to ADHD). My application to sit for the bar exam included an extensive, detailed application for testing accommodations - the same that I had been granted on exams throughout law school - which was summarily denied. I continued studying with the Barbri program, supplemented with Critical Pass flashcards and Rigos MEE subject outlines. However, I made an enormous mistake in not immediately shifting my the focus of my study from mastering the material to working on mastering the timing of the exam. Unsurprisingly, I ran out of time significantly on every single portion of the exam -- this is why I believe that there is no possible way that I passed. This is all to say that I would hope to strategize my study plan to more effectively address my test-taking weaknesses this time, and I believe I could really use some guidance throughout that process.

I am interested in tutoring for the Texas Bar Exam for February 2018. I haven't started yet and plan to have a session either once a week or once every other week. Also, I haven't purchased any materials and so was interested in hearing your take on which if any prep program I should use.

I am emailing regarding tutoring for the bar exam to give my tutor a synopsis of my situation. I am in dire need for a tutor with patience. I am finally at a place where I have the courage to try this again but I know I have to be very strategic with how I prepare. I want to take the July 2018 exam but I want to start early in studying because I currently work and it's been 3 years since I've graduated law school.
