I am trying to help a friend of mine. He recently moved to the US about 1 year ago and is having trouble learning English. Can u teach him? I would be paying for him and he is an adult. I'm interested in both in person and online. I don't know which would be better . His place, public place, ur teaching location. Whatever is easiest.

My son is about to complete Kindergarten and is behind grade level with reading and math. He’s older for his grade, so he just turned 7 on 5/5/23. My main focus is getting him where he needs to be with reading. I’m looking for a tutor 2-3x a week during the summer. He will be attending a summer program during the day at New World United Methodist Church in Garland, and they said that it would be fine to have someone come tutor him while he’s there. As a single, working mom, not having to worry about additional transportation is a huge plus for me. I have been using the book “Teach your Child to read in 100 easy lessons” and we are on lesson 55.
