My daughter will be turning 5 this summer and will be entering kindergarten this upcoming school year. I’m currently looking for an in-home private tutor to help enrich her learning experience over the summer and strengthen her early reading foundations in a fun, engaging, and age-appropriate way.
I’m specifically interested in support with:
- phonics
- letter sounds
- sight words
- early reading skills
- articulation/confidence
- kindergarten readiness and comprehension

I'm looking for an in-person tutor for my younger sister this summer.
She has Down syndrome and is graduating from high school next year. I'd love to use the next 2-3 months to really help her grow in three areas: articulation, reading comprehension, and math. She's currently reading at a 3rd-grade level, and a stretch goal would be to get her closer to a 5th-6th-grade level by the end of summer.
One heads-up: she has a short attention span and really thrives with patient, encouraging instruction, so the right fit matters more to me than speed.
If this sounds like something you'd be interested in, I'd love to chat about your availability, rates, and how you typically approach sessions. Happy to share more about her too.
Thanks!

I work as a math tutor on Wyzant. I have a student I been working with for the last couple of years who is requesting help with essay writing which is not my forte. I’m looking for a tutor to work alongside me to help provide my student with the help they need. They’re heading to the 8th grade.
